Atomic is a leading international manufacturer of skis, snowboards and equipment, founded in 1955 in Wagrain / Austria and now based in Altenmarkt, Austria. Atomic was part of the freeskiing movement from it’s beginning and by now some of the biggest names in the sport rely on their products. Supporting the Austrian Freeski Open for the third consecutive year underlines their commitment and their motivation to push the Austrian and international freeskiing movement.

The formation of the „Gletscherbahnen Kaprun“ startet in 1963 and three years later people could travel easily to an altitude of 3.029 meters using the aerial tramway. Today Austria`s first glacier ski resort is transporting an averagae number of 820.000 guests a year. Already for many years Kitzsteinhorn in cooperation with Mellow Constructions provides not only one but three different snowparks which helps the local freeski scene to grow fast. In 2010 for the first time Kitzsteinhorn is the host of the Austrian Freeski Open and therefore can welcome the international freeski elite.

Zell am See-Kaprun is one of the most famous tourism destinations all over Europe and located in the heart of Salzburg`s Pinzgau. Offering an endlesss number of both summer and winter activities this region is considered to be very attractive for vacationers of all ages. Figurhead of Kaprun with it`s ancient history is time-honored „Burg Kaprun“, which will be the location for the FM4 Downdays party during the AFO week.
